Andy Ineichen absolved three years of training as a painter in combination with decorational art and scenery painting. He also spent two years developing his creativity at the Gestaltungsschule in Lucerne.

He received further education in decorating during one and a half years and visited several classes at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich.


Andy Ineichen acquired additional knowledge in numerous courses for wood, marble and other imitations. Furthermore, he was able to expand his expertise in techniques of nature and landscape photography while studying in the USA.

 

He has been working as a self-employed artist since 1990 and is a known specialist in painting optical illusions (Trompe l'oeil).
